   Dark Fire (McCalls, #2) by Elizabeth Lowell 5/5 stars . . .Of course it would take a man like Trace Rawlings---a man who lives by his own rules to reign in the likes of Cynthia.  Cynthia is anything but the pampered spoiled little rich girl that Trace is expecting.  Not knowing the truth of things he treats her like crap and feels justified in doing so. For the life of it Cynthia cannot understand why on earth she would feel the way so do for Trace.  But in the midst of the mountains things change and on one warm wet rainy night it all comes to a head.  Then one phone call brings it all to an end.

   Confessions of an Improper Bride (Donovan Sisters #1) by Jennifer Haymore 5/5 stars . . .  Serena Donovan (Meg) may  have caused a major scandal in her previous turn about London but this time she is on a different mission.  Although it may have the same result of scandal.  Jonathan Dane is the core of Serena's utter embarrassment and everlasting shame.  She is determined to this time make things right for her sister to come after her.  Even if it means marrying a man she does not love and has not romantic feeling for.

The Earl of Stratford, Jonathan Dane has a lot to atone for.  Six years ago he did the unthinkable and regrets it to the max.  Now, he believes his eyes and feelings are deceiving him.  Meg Donovan, his best friend's betrothed has come to town.  She reminds him so much of his beloved Serena.  So much so that he is positive of the true identity of the woman behind the facade.  It a ride to revelations and understanding for both Jonathan and Serena.

I enjoyed this first read by Haymore very much and look forward the remain sisters and their possible adventures to come.

   Once Upon a Wicked Night (Donovan Sisters #1.5) Jennifer Haymore 4/5 stars . . .  Serena and Jonathan are back a the scene of their earlier demise.   Will they allow the few that condemned them to take away from what should have been a very beautiful moment for the two of them. 

Serenely sweet Olivia has her intro to London society and there are many things that she wish to forget and never live through again.

   Secrets of an Accidental Duchess (Donovan Sisters #2) by Jennifer Haymore 5/5 stars . . .  Olivia's debut into London society has been tainted by a nastily given proposition.  To make matters even worse it was given by a very bitter and nasty little man that feel he is entitled to do such things.  Max becomes a pawn in this man's sick game of can I have her.

During the course of this all we learn a lot more about the other Donovan sisters and their views on things.  One Donovan sister get little more tangled into things than she would have liked too.

   Pleasures of a Tempted Lady (Donovan Sisters #3) by Jennifer Haymore 5/5 stars . . . Meg & Will after 8 years  and many trails life can hand out have found each other again.  Truly by coincident. Their lives have gone in different directions with much in between that has been placed to test them.  Is it now time for a little piece of happiness to be granted to them?

Not so fast.  Haymore send them both on a ride that may not quite end in in the happily ever after they are looking for.  But by the end each one of the five Donovan sisters will have more than they would have ever imagined.

   Colters' Gift (Colters' Legacy #5) by Maya Banks 5/5 stars . . . Colters' stick together no matter the situation.  That includes their extended family.  Lauren finds a home and family in the Colorado mountains after an ordeal that could cost her, her life.  She learns to love and learn to be loved through the midst of all that is going on.  Liam and Noah bring something more to her life than she could have ever imagined having.

Bonus 'Colters' Legacy - Is the closing chapters to the Colters'.  Its well worth the wait and provides an adequate closing to this family.

   Texas! Lucky (Texas! Tyler Family Saga, #1)  by Sandra Brown 5/5 stars 

Intriguing and Funny.  Lucky has one hell of a chivalry streak.  His parent taught hi to value a woman not matter here station in life. No matter the circumstances. When he steps in to help a woman in distress, thanks is not too much to ask for especially since he was injured.  But to his chagrin this lady does not have thanks on her mind or her lips.  He goes far to get a little thanks. In his pursuit of a thank you things get out of hand and can in up costing more than he or his family can afford to lose.

  First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1)  by Darynda Jones  5/5 stars 

The first read by Jones and I think that I am in love.  Jones has provided me with real characters from the real world to love with variety and rarities.  

Orgasmic Dream!!!!! Holly $#ite!

This stars right of with a tanker filled with laughter.  Caution do not be consuming food or drink for fear of choking hazard.  Jones makes ADHD look extremely appealing from the perspective of Charley Davidson.  Charley is a serious HOOT!  I love her without a doubt. I love her relationship with the people around her.  She has a quality of uniqueness about her and a devil may care attitude.  

This is by far not the last book that I will read in this series. On to the next and hope for the same level of quality.
